Scalise Announces Eric Zulkosky as New Chief of Staff

Today, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise announced Eric Zulkosky as his incoming Chief of Staff. Zulkosky has worked for Scalise for nearly seven years, previously serving as Scalise’s Legislative Director, Member Services Director, and most recently as Floor Director.

“I’m excited to announce that Eric Zulkosky will be taking on the role of Chief of Staff in my leadership office. A familiar face on the Hill and throughout Washington, D.C., Eric is a longtime friend and trusted advisor. Eric recently returned from the private sector to help us execute President Trump’s America First agenda as my Floor Director. He previously served as my Legislative Director, Policy Advisor, and Director of Member Services, advising me for more than six years. Throughout his time on Team Scalise, Eric has worked closely with Members and their Chiefs, played a key role with the Steering Committee, and developed expertise across a range of policy issues,” said Leader Steve Scalise. “With over a decade of Hill experience, it’s safe to say that Eric is well-versed in the business of the People’s House. He possesses a unique skillset required to lead the Majority Leader’s office: extensive knowledge of policy, a deep understanding of how to manage the House floor, experience making strategic decisions at a high level, and a history of building relationships to get things done. Eric is a seasoned professional, and I know he’ll do an amazing job leading my office and ensuring the House Republican Conference continues to deliver for the American people. Congratulations, Eric!”

“After many years of working on Team Scalise, I am incredibly grateful for this new opportunity to serve Leader Scalise as his Chief of Staff. Leader Scalise has built a team of hardworking and dedicated staffers, and it is a privilege to be selected to lead them in this critical moment.” said Eric Zulkosky. “I’m eager to get to work for the success of our conference and our nation and I look forward to working with Committees, Members, and their staff to advance their legislative priorities and usher in America’s golden age.”
